There is no other doctor or practice that can come even close to the gem that is Dr. Tamburrino! Plastic surgery was always a pipe dream for me but after a friend referral that led to my initial consult, my life is changed. Dr. Tamburrino is a plastic surgeon genius who can see the big picture, while being ridiculously talented, and explain what will happen to your body throughout the recovery period and beyond, and be as relatable, kind, and caring from start to finish. After a tummy tuck and lipo, I'm barely recognizable to my old self, and I have the body that's even better than pre (3) babies ago. Every visit to his beautifully pristine office was exciting, almost fun, and yet it's so professional between all his staff (especially Anna who so sweetly doubles as wife & assistant; Alexis and Andrea who were always great), and I had clear understanding of what surgery day would be like, what recovery would be like, how I could directly be in touch with Anna for every little question and worry, and even what the financial part would be. He's certainly worth the distance to see him; the only thing available in NJ comes in the form of a gremlin named Dr. Lyle Back who I saw for consult 2 years ago and couldn't have been more rude and degrading. I was searching the internet on information for a tummy tuck when i found Doctor Tamburrino, what caught my attention was his reviews and that he is a double board-certified. I had a liposuction, a tummy tuck and, breast graft done. I was nervous when I went for my tummy tuck but his staff are wonderful and they helped me out. Ana and Alexis help me with everything I needed. If I could rate with zero stars, I would. I'm convinced that Dr. Tamburrino pays a service to concoct "glowing reviews". I underwent lipo 360 with Dr. Tamburrino with high hopes. In all fairness, he did recommend a tummy tuck to avoid loose skin in my stomach area. I opted not to do the tummy tuck due to the severe scar in the bikini area and the recovery time. After surgery, his office referred me to a massage therapist for lymphatic drainage. She was amazing; however, she told me that she wanted to be transparent that my tummy area had a lot of unevenness that was not normal, too firm to be swelling, and it wasn't something she could resolve with massage. She encouraged me to talk to Dr. Tamburrino about it and the possibility of a revision if it didn't resolve. At 6 weeks post op, I spoke to Dr. Tamburrino about my stomach and he agreed that I needed a revision, but not before he weighed me, made me feel terrible about the fact that I was heavier than the weight I noted on the intake at consultation, and showed me documentation of the recommendation he made for me to do a tummy tuck as if he was making a legal case. He also "unfriended" the therapist on social media for giving me her professional opinion. I was hesitant to go back again, but I paid so much money for the surgery, I just wanted a stomach that wasn't lumpy. At 5 months post op, I met with him again to discuss the revision and he gave me the run-around telling me I was "heavier" and essentially refused to correct the unevenness in my stomach until I got back to the weight I put on the paper at consultation. He never did get a baseline weight on me and he also told me at consultation that liposuction does not reduce weight by a lot. I included pictures of myself 1-week before lipo and 4 weeks post-lipo illustrating the unnatural contours of my stomach. The takeaway...if you don't want to be fat-shamed standing there in your skivvies, do your homework to find a plastic surgeon that stands behind his work. A hard (and expensive) lesson learned for me, but maybe not for you! More

About 5 years ago I was looking for a new doctor for my Botox injections. Before this, I had tried at least 5 different med spas but none had given me the results I strived for. I came upon Dr. Tamburrino in an internet search and decided to go in for a consultation. From the moment that stepped into the office I was highly impressed with the front desk staff. Dr. Tamburrino himself never once made me feel uncomfortable or forced to do any procedure, as some offices do. As he advised, I proceeded with a 2 stage surgery due to the higher volume of lipo that I needed. Other offices probably would have went ahead and did it despite the risks. He not only is incredibly talented and knowledgeable in his work but authentically cares for his patients and it shows. He advised the risks of doing the procedures all at once since there was such a high volume of lipo (lipo 360, tummy tuck and breast lift). I have been a patient of Dr. Tamburrino for the last 3 years and will never trust or go to anyone else. He reconstructed my former breast augmentation and kinda created a miracle...they were a mess and an embarrassment, i now love and no longer hate to look at myself in the mirror. Along with that he revised a long time scare from a tummy tuck that i was just insecure about...i no longer hide these scares thanks to Dr. Tamburrino... Not the end of my experience. .i had my lips done and because of the technique he used by numbing my lips before injecting it was absolutely the easiest procedure i had ever had as most give you ice packs and you barely make it through...the pain is so bad.... I tell everyone that is interested in lip injections to seek out Dr.Tamburrino... My botox, is a work in progress as it should be.........it takes time for an expert to figure out what your specific needs are. No 2 faces are i alike. I am extremely happy with Dr. Tamburrino and his entire office staff. I had abdominoplasty, muscle repair, and liposuction to the back and flanks. From the moment I walked in for my first consult, everyone was so friendly. The office is clean and well decorated. Dr. Tamburrino was extremely thorough with his explanations and realistic expectations. I felt very safe in his skilled hands. I have scoliosis which causes an asymmetric waistline and back. He paid attention to that and was able to help minimize the appearance of the disproportion. As a person who works in the healthcare field, having a surgeon with all of the training and certifications that Dr. Tamburrino has was very important to me. Andrea and Ana were both extremely helpful and responsive whenever I had a question or needed anything. Dr.Tamburrino gave me BACK my life! After loosing 200 lbs, I was left with VERY excessive loose arm skin. As someone who has had extreme weight loss, this became a hinderance on daily life as the skin was SO loose & uncomfortable I figured plastic surgery was the only way to regain comfort in my new body. Dr.T was recommended from a friend and after meeting him in person (only once), I felt he was the one to preform an extended arm lift on me. I am almost 1 month post opp while writing this review, and cannot say enough amazing words about Dr.Tamburrino and his staff! From the first consult, we were given a wealth of knowledge & explained everything. We then booked the surgery. I had a 1 month out pre opp appointment, which was also full of more information. Dr.T made sure I had all my medicine before the surgery filled for ease & comfort - which helps because thats the last thing on your mind after surgery. The surgery itself went smooth. After the surgery, Nurse Anna was ALWAYS a text or phone call away - which is amazing because its stressful enough having a major surgery & having someone with info a call away - always eased my mind. Everyone in the office was always so warm & helpful. Andrea helped me get the perfect compression garmet & was always so helpful with ordering it! I like that after having the surgery, Dr.Tamburrino gives you the time & offers multiple post opp appointments to make sure you are hitting all the healing milestones & keeps close eye on your healing. He really knows his craft! This entire process was amazing. This was my first time ever having surgery & I honestly could not of picked a more perfect Dr & team. Besides feeling taken care of, I LOVE my results. I feel like I have regained my life back with having normal sized arms & can focus on staying healthy with my new arms. One of the best team. Dr T is a very professional surgeon around the town. I did consultations with few more surgeons for Liposuction in Pennsylvania but was only satisfied with his work. I had my lipo 360 done and i am Very happy with my surgery results. He is the best. Highly recommend.
